With the proper FortiGate configuration, a Wireless Access Point can be deployed remotely at home or anywhere outside your network. The Remote AP will forward the user’s internet traffic through the FortiGate to be authenticated, and will allow them remote access to internal network addresses, without compromising the overall security of the network.
