FortiGate-3950B and BreakingPoint Performance Test – March 2011

Fortinet conducted performance testing on a fully loaded FortiGate-3950B, using the BreakingPoint Elite chassis. The test results showed over 100 Gbps of firewall performance for large, medium, small packets and real world web (HTTP) traffic. Also, the FortiGate-3950B is able to deliver over 170 million packets per second (Mpps) and sub 10 microsecond latency
