Astaro is pleased to announce the availability of the Astaro Security Gateway V7 GA. Version 7 contains a huge number of advanced features and enhancements like transparent e-mail encryption, SSL VPN, active/active clustering and control of instant messaging and peer-to-peer file sharing traffic. Development Snapshot ASG 6.933
This development snapshot of upcoming ASG V7 shows the latest state of ASG V7 BETA. Besides a lot of fixes and beautification it includes also the promised Initial Install Wizard. The persistent feedback on our UBB and on V7Beta@astaro.com motivated us to release another snapshot of upcoming ASG V7: 6.933 Because of the amount of changes we are not able to provide a Firmware Up2Date package, but you can use your backup file from a previous ASG V7 BETA installation

ASG Up2date 6.303 released [Middle]
This Up2Date introduces the new feature link speed setting for Ethernet cards on Astaro Security Gateway Appliances. It also contains fixes for Antispam, memory management for HTTP Proxy and IPSec, and for some smaller issues.
Up2Date 6.302 reloaded
Due to a restart-issue with the Clamav UPX heap overflow -fix we reloaded Up2Date 6.302. Please read on if you use the Open Source engine Anti-Virus engine and installed 6.302 already. If you didn't install the Up2Date yet, your ASG will prefetch the Up2Date again and install the new one.
ASG Up2date 6.302 released [Middle]
Up2Date 6.302 includes a security fix for a virus scan engine, a fix for the HTTP Proxy Report and a correction in the Chinese language file. All ASG 420/425 appliance users should install the Up2Date as soon as possible, because it includes a fix for the sometimes not properly working Ethernet NICs 4-7
ASG Up2Date 6.203 released [Middle]
Version 6.203 introduces two new features and a bunch of bug fixes. These new features are: support for USB sticks for backup-file installation during bootup and Port-80 support for the Surf Protection database connect. Check the details and also the list of 19 bug fixes
ASG Virtual Appliance 6.202 released
The VMware images of ASG V6.202 were released. They include all previous Up2Date packages and using now the (virtual) LSI Logic SCSI Adapter to increase disk performance.
CA Certificate expiration date
You use X.509 certificates for VPN connections and you are a loyal user of Astaro Security Gateway? Maybe you should check the expiration date of your CA (Certificate Authority) Certificate, because it has a lifetime of “just” 4 years. If you use X.509 certificates for VPN connections and imported your configuration from a V5 you should check the expiration date of your CA (Certificate Authority) Certificates
