UTM 9.004 Up2Date Released

We have just uploaded released UTM 9.004. This main reason for this release is to support our new UTM 100 product and its associated licensing, and we'll also take the opportunity to increase the stability of UTM 9 by quashing a few bugs, notably a pesky one with IOS6 and the Cisco VPN client which we support. IOS6 should again work with your UTM VPN configurations. Further, the SSL VPN client now works with Windows 8. You will need to re-install your SSL VPN client on Windows 8 via the UserPortal after updating to 9.004. More news around UTM 100 is inside…read on!

A bit about UTM 100 for you:

FAQ:
Feature Overview:
Hardware Overview:
*Note that the UTM 110 has had the 10 user-limit removed entirely, and the UTM 1xx line now has some bandwidth limits on the 100/110 instead which act as separators from the 120 (in addition to the Basic/Full Guard choices).
**To pre-emptively answer the question that is addressed in the FAQ, your existing license and renewals are grandfathered for the future, you are of course not forced to switch to new ones. However, you cannot buy the old 10-IP limit/unlimited bandwidth UTM 110's any longer either. (Keep what you have for the future, but only the new offerings are available to buy as of Nov 1st.) So, if you happen to love the old 10-IP limit style, you can stay with that.

We have made the ASG V8–>UTM 9 one-touch appliance upgrade process now land you at 9.004.  All remaining appliances will be unlocked very shortly like we did for the 220/320 devices two weeks ago, and then finally we'll complete the roll out for all HA/Cluster installations.
