Astaro recently joined the Cloud Security Alliance(CSA) along with Sophos and is now looking into further cooperation and speaking opportunities with the group. The CSA is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing, and to provide education on the uses of Cloud Computing to help secure all other forms of computing. The association is led by a broad coalition of industry practitioners, corporations, associations and other key stakeholders.
By becoming an official member of the CSA, Astaro finds itself right at the pulse of technological advancements and is therefore able to influence the UTM development in the best way possible. Moreover, a worldwide opinion pool will enable Astaro to start from the pole position when entering this and is able to create features accordingly for the next generation of UTM gateways.
